Discord Applications and Bots

Cosmic Scripts LLC operates Discord applications and bots, including Orb, Mars, and Orion, to provide account management, subscription access, customer support, community features, security, and server administration. This section also applies to other Discord bots we may operate. The information processed depends on the features enabled for each bot.

Discord Information We Process

Depending on how you interact with our Discord bots, we may process:

  • Discord user ID, username, display name, nickname, and avatar
  • Discord server ID, server membership, roles, and permissions
  • Join, leave, role-update, and server-ban events, including ban reasons when available
  • Bot commands, command options, button selections, form submissions, and other interactions
  • The IDs of users involved in subscription transfers, gifts, administrative actions, or leaderboards
  • Messages or attachments intentionally submitted to a bot when required for a disclosed command, support request, moderation feature, or other requested service

Orb uses member information to connect Discord accounts with Cosmic customer records, verify subscriptions, grant or remove product-access roles, restore roles when subscribers rejoin, authorize staff commands, process subscription gifts or transfers, provide support, maintain leaderboards, and protect our Services from fraud or abuse.

Message Content

Orb may temporarily process message content when a user intentionally invokes a documented text command. Ordinary conversations that do not invoke Orb are ignored and are not stored, indexed, analyzed, or used for advertising.

Other Cosmic-operated Discord bots will process message content only when necessary for their disclosed features, such as user-requested commands, support submissions, or moderation and security functions. Unless a feature clearly states otherwise, message content is processed only long enough to perform the requested function and is not retained off Discord.

Presence Information

Orb does not collect or track Discord presence information, including online status, activities, or device status. If another Cosmic-operated bot requires presence information for a future feature, we will disclose that use before collecting it and update this Privacy Policy as appropriate.

How We Use Discord Information

We use Discord information to:

  • Link Discord users to Cosmic customer and subscription records
  • Fulfill purchases and manage subscription access
  • Assign, restore, and remove Discord roles
  • Authenticate users and authorize staff actions
  • Provide customer-support and account-management features
  • Process user-requested subscription gifts or transfers
  • Operate community leaderboards and similar optional features
  • Maintain administrative and security audit records
  • Investigate fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and policy violations
  • Enforce server or account restrictions

We do not sell Discord information. We do not use Discord message content, member data, or presence data to train artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.

Storage and Retention

Some Discord information is stored outside Discord in Cosmic’s systems. This may include Discord user IDs, usernames, display names, avatar URLs, account links, subscription records, administrative actor IDs, security records, and limited audit history.

Complete server-member lists and ordinary message content are not retained as separate tracking datasets. Temporary caches are kept only as needed to operate bot features.

We retain Discord information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain subscription and transaction records, protect our users, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Removing a bot, leaving a Discord server, or stopping use of a command may not automatically delete records connected to an existing customer account, transaction, security action, or legal obligation.

Your Choices

Use of bot commands and optional Discord features is voluntary. You may stop interacting with a bot or leave a server where it operates. However, processing a Discord user ID and membership or role information may be necessary to provide subscription access and enforce server permissions.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of eligible Discord-linked personal information by contacting support@cosx.gg. We may retain information when required for transactions, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
